I have to say that I thoroughly enjoy driving to school with a plush lobster as my passenger. He really does make a difference in my long, long drive and he waits for me patiently in the car until class is over. What more can you ask for?

First day of schooool!
What can I say that would sound any different than any of the other First Day of School entries that I have written? Not a whole lot, other than the drive to school is longer and parking is a bigger pain in the butt than I remember at NoVa. Other than that, it was nice---nice in this context meaning: it's nice to at least know one person in the entire school (enter Derek), and it's nice to be starting fresh in a new and unfamiliar place.
My only thing that I have to say right this minute so I can get it out of my system is this: I am terrified of Speech. But still excited, if that makes any sense.

Uhm, so, we bought a piglet today.
( LOOKATIM! )
Here is our story:
The guys and I crazily decided to buy their mom a piglet for her birthday because we pass by this house with a "Piglets 4 Sale" sign all the time, and today we decided to get one. He was the only pink one in the bunch and as cute as can be, even when he pooped all over our arms; we named him Lil' Oink. We took him home and gave him a little piggy-bath and tried to feed him carrots when all he really wanted to do was nudge us and nibble on our pants. When Derek and Nakey's Mom came home to discover her surprise she was at first a little confused before deciding that a little piglet would not be very good for the new house and such. So, two hours later, we piled back into the car and tried to take Lil' Oink back to the farm. The woman who sold us Lil' Oink didn't answer the doorbell or any of our repeated knocks on her door, not even a phone call, and so we wondered if we should keep Lil' Oink overnight and come back in the morning or just put him back in the pig-pen. A little girl came over from the neighboring house and told us that, to our surprise, people came back to the farm to return piglets quite often and that our Lil' Oink unfortunately had a bad case of mites. That was when I decided it was definitely time to go home and take an extremely hot shower. So, we left Lil' Oink at his original abode and came home to disinfect absolutely everything that we and Lil' Oink had touched or peed on.
But he was still the cutest little pig I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, even for a measly two hours.
EDIT: I'm really not sure I'll be able to eat bacon, ham, or hot dogs ever again.

Oh, Phoenix Wright is such love. Only now do I understand why every store in the entire world has it back-ordered. Before, it was just plain annoying but now that I get to borrow Derek's/Nakey's my eyes are opened to its greatness.
What would I do without my DS!? ...Probably go swimming all the time.
Uuuh, say stuff to me!

I will post pictures of my room, the rest of the house, and our whacky adventures when I figure out how to get them onto my computer and once it's all hooked up to the internet and jeonk.
In the meantime, all I can say is that it's been pretty fun so far but that it was very hard to leave home. Especially since our train was delayed about three times before we actually got here.
I miss everyone very much, so if you want you can send me your addresses and I will send you little surprise letters in the mail! If I knew our address off the top of my head I would put it on here, but I'll have to do it at a later date.
And that's about all for now.

Today I rode on my Dad's motorcycle for the first time and it was better than I thought it would be. Motorcycles seem to be the only thing that him and I can happily talk about sometimes. But it was nice being with him, not angry or upset, and enjoying the ride. He seemed more like a Dad to me than he has in a long time.
Also, I had an omelette for the first time: a ham and cheese omelette to be precise. It was delicious and I believe I will be eating more omelettes in the future!
Derek is living in my basement now and we'll be leaving for Florida on the fourteenth of July. Less than two weeks away now! I'm both excited and incredibly scared at how close that is right now, but in truth it's time for a change and I'm ready to evolve and see what else is out there. My Mom and I talk about the trip constantly, but I haven't realized until recently how tired I am of planning things and buying bathroom supplies. The other day we bought a Motrin bottle with 250 pills in it. 250! ...It'll last me until I go into menopause, I'm sure.
...Derek can't find a save point on his game, so he's stinking up my couch and whining at the one-eyed phallic monsters he's fighting. But, shhh, don't tell him I said that.

Okayokayokay.
So, I had this dream a few nights ago that Monday Night Raw was turned into Dancing with the Wrestlers and for some reason Stephanie McMahon picked me to be Shawn Michaels's dance partner. And then there was Kane and The Undertaker, but I have no idea who their partners were. Sadly, I don't recall much dancing taking place but rather more of me moving in on Shawn Michaels and his family and giving him grilling equipment as a random dance-partner present. He probably wasn't very happy because I gave him seven different kinds of tongs.
Oooh, but I'm so excited for DX. Especially because they like to slime the Spirit Squad with green slime and it's so beautiful. Lovelovelove.
Also, I decided to give myself an early birthday present and buy a Nintendo DS! (My Mom actually did it, but shhhh.) It's so much fun! My only complaint is that they don't make a green DS, which prompts me to try and turn my 'lectric blue DS green with my faux-magical powers. This all started because of last weekend when Derek, Joe, Nakey, Allie, Adrian and I went to Bob's cabin and I didn't bring anything to entertain myself with---so I played Animal Crossing on Derek's DS, and now I'm hooked. Animal Crossing is such love! But I need to discover other good games, so give me suggestions if you're a DS-person.
Uuhh... Nothing else is new, I guess, other than utter disappointment in my father---but that's nothing new.

I quit my job at Giant after three measly days because I started to get stressed and realize how little time I have left here in Virginia. As of yesterday, in fact, it's a little over a month and there are so many things that I want to do before I leave! I also realized that there are other ways to save and make money, such as selling my practically unused X-Box, textbooks from NoVa, and perhaps my millions of Beanie Babies that are shoved under the stairs in my basement. Tell me if you want any Beanie Babies and we'll talk business, but unfortunately the X-Box is spoken for.
So, now is the time to have fun and be merry! No regrets and no good-byes! ...Just fun. And candy.

After my first two days of working at Giant I've learned a number of valuable things, but none such as valuable as how to properly cut melons and strawberries. I am so pleased with myself.
Ooh, and for the first time ever I worked an hour over time and lived to tell about it. My only hope is that I will be compensated with many-much moneys.
P.S. ---- Never come into my line (if I have one) with donuts or wine. I will cut you.

Happy Mother's Day.
We were supposed to go to The Melting Pot, but because Matt has to work a double-shift and my Mom is really sick we've had to revise our plans to The Not-Melting Pot. I'm a little bummed, considering I had a dream last night that Derek and I went to a dance at Hayfield Elementary and it started snowing (in May) yet we still said we would make it to The Melting Pot. Very sad.
At this moment, though, all I really want are my pills. Because I need them in order to ensure hormonal stability instead of leaving me in this powder-keg state of mindless pissed-offery.
It's supposed to rain for the next week straight. Oh, I'm so excited.

...And now it's time to get a job and get ready to move to Florida. The excitement did not last long, I'll tell you that much.
I'm not looking forward to getting a job because I know it'll be complicated, I'll certainly take things too personally, and it'll absolutely destroy what little social life I have left. But I need the money. My Dad, although he claims to be supporting me and my decision to move now, refuses to help pay for my college expenses from here on out because he's a money-tight Scrooge that obviously doesn't believe in having dreams unless it involves mending things with your ex-wife. Ouch. The truth often hurts. And truthfully, he owes me a car. But do you think he's going to help me? Hell no.
I've got a lot of money to start hoarding in the months to come, and for those of you who truly know me you know how much I hate money and its control over our lives, so this goes against a lot of what I believe in as a hippie-like pseudo-activist. At the same time, I'm not spending another summer sitting around waiting for something to happen like a freshman in high school who is too lazy to do anything but watch TV, play video games, and eat food all day. No offense to anyone here, but I know that's what I did.
Toys R' Us is now hiring and I was thinking about applying. Derek brought up the idea but I'm not sure how us working in the same environment would go. But it might be fun to be around toys all day. I would play with the Barbies and the wrestling action figures and make them get married.

So, it's been a while since my last update so I feel obligated to fill in the blanks about the last two weeks or so.
Basically, The Pajama Game has been absolutely phenomenal and I'm really sad that tonight is the last night I'll get to hear Derek sing and get "Seven and a Half Cents" stuck in my head. I made the cast some brownie cupcakes that I snagged from Paula Deen off the Food Network, minus all the fatty goodness she puts into all her dishes. They should be good, yaw'll! ...Heh.
It's been an okay day so far---I'm hoping it gets better. My hair has gotten so shaggy and my hair stylist is never available, I was driven to a commercial cuttery and that didn't go over so well. I usually like hair-cuts, but this one was just depressing. At least I'm not starting to look like Cousin It anymore.
Anyhow, the real reason for this post was to give everyone a taste of what's been going on with The PJ Game. I took some pictures backstage last night of Derek and some of the guys, and tonight I'm going to take some more of other people. So, in the meantime, I've decided to post some doodles I did... They should make you giggle, and if not I'll give you a full refund.
